How Long Have You Been at Shout Out Loud?

I’ve been at Shout Out Loud 7 months.

What Role Do You Play at Shout Out Loud?

Usually, I catch garments but occasionally I help with finishing services and counting in blanks.

What Do You Do Outside of Work?

In the before times, I enjoyed going and playing shows. I’m a multi-instrumentalist.  I have several active projects and an awesome group of friends that frequently collaborate together.  I enjoy biking, hiking, and travelling/touring whenever possible.  I’m also passionate about cooking and I love discovering new foods and exploring the food scenes in new places.

What’s Your Favorite Customer Project and Why?

I enjoy the custom orders from bands.  The art that comes in is pretty amazing.  Projects for Horseburner and Saintseneca are tied. Their artwork was really cool.  I’m so glad we are able to support musicians.

What Is The Dumbest Way You’ve Been Injured?

I wasn’t really hurt but I feel like I almost died from an ungrounded electrical outlet. I was holding a bass and we plugged in a new AMP.  I touched the bass to a pole and the outlet shorted out and created a huge spark.  I just thought if I was touching the strings, I would have been electrocuted.  It was a little frightening.  The short burned the tuning knob on the bass and left a scorch mark.

What’s Your Worst Bug-Related Story?

I have had a wolf spider jump at me in  my basement.  It's so alarming because they are so massive.  I’m not normally afraid of bugs, but giant spiders jumping at you is pretty frightening.

Is A Hot Dog A Sandwich, And Why?

I would argue that it is.  A sandwich is something between two pieces.  I would argue ravioli is a sandwich. Take two slices of pizza stacked on top of each other and you've got a sandwich.  So a hot dog is pretty much a sandwich.

What’s The Worst Food You Ever Ate?

The worst visceral reaction has been eating scallops.  I know if cooked well it could be wonderful.  But it must be the texture.  Each time I’ve tried them I’ve felt like I was going to vomit.  I’m not a big fan of seafood.

What Is Your Spirit Animal, And Why?

I would say my spirit animal is a cat, maybe a panther specifically.  I feel I heavily relate to the  mannerisms and vibe of cats.  They just want to chill. They appreciate their humans but they really don't need anyone.  I respect that.  I just have always had a kinship with my feline brethren.
